On May 12, First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev met with a delegation led by Chief of the General Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan Lieutenant General Serik Iztleuov, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan.
Welcoming the guests, Colonel General K. Valiyev stressed the necessity to expand such meetings and mutual relations in strengthening military cooperation between the armies of the two countries.
Expressing satisfaction with his visit to Azerbaijan, Lieutenant General S. Iztleuov noted the importance of exchange of experience in the field of military cooperation.
Prospects for the development of cooperation, as well as other issues of interest were discussed during the meeting.
