Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces attended Military Committee in Chiefs of Staff Sessions in Resolute Support and Interoperability Partners formats held at NATO Headquarters in Brussels

The First Deputy of Defence Minister – Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces Colonel-General Najmaddin Sadikov attended Military Committee in Chiefs of Staff Sessions in Resolute Support and Interoperability Partners formats held on 18 May at NATO Headquarters in Brussels.
The meeting started with a session in Resolute Support format. During the session issues such as, NATO Resolute Support mission and current operational situation in Afghanistan and military partnership were discussed. Furthermore, within the scope of the lnteroperability Partners format session, development of interoperability with partners, implementation of Individual Tailored Roadmap, effective resource management topics were also discussed.
Within the scope of the visit the Chief of General Staff of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces had also meetings with the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee General Petr Pavel, as well as with the Chiefs of General Staffs of Turkey, Georgia and Ukraine Armed Forces.
