Meetings aimed at the military-patriotic upbringing of the youth and instilling in them a sense of devotion to statehood continue in accordance with the action plan of the Ministry of Defense.
The delegation of the National Defense University visited Baku State University and held a meeting with students according to the plan.
First, the memory of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev, and Shehids (Martyrs), who sacrificed their lives for the independence of the Motherland, was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
The meeting discussed the measures being taken in Azerbaijan in various fields in the direction of the upbringing of the younger generation in the spirit of commitment to national roots, spiritual values, historical traditions, love for the Motherland, and devotion to statehood. Students’ questions were also answered.
At the meeting, which was also attended by the teaching staff of Baku State University, a number of issues on cooperation in the field of science and education were discussed.
