NATO Evaluation Level-2 (NEL-2) for a pair of Mi-17-1V helicopters operated by the Azerbaijan Air Force was held within the framework of NATO’s Operational Capabilities Concept (OCC) Programme. 
Initially, in-depth briefings were provided on the objectives of the evaluation, safety procedures, and other key matters.
In accordance with the programme, live-fire exercises were conducted at the training range, along with practical firefighting exercises.
Additionally, theoretical and practical evaluations were conducted to assess the individual competencies of military personnel.
It is noteworthy that the evaluation within the training, which will run until 29 October, aims to evaluate and certify the operational capabilities of the declared pair of helicopters for compliance with NATO standards.
