In accordance with the Agreement on Military Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey, Azerbaijani-Turkish live-firing joint tactical exercises "Indestructible Brotherhood - 2019" will be held in Nakhchivan on June 7-11. A state flag exchange ceremony of the two fraternal countries was held as part of the preparation for the exercises.
The platoon of the Combined-Arms Army made a march from the Nakhchivan city across the Sadarak border checkpoint to the Umid bridge over the Araz River to participate in the flag exchange ceremony. At the same time, the platoon of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey made a march from the Kars city in the direction of the Sadarak border checkpoint.
After the National Anthems of Azerbaijan and Turkey were performed, a state flag exchange ceremony of the two fraternal countries was held on the Umid bridge.
