An official opening ceremony of the "International Army games - 2016" is held in Kubinka near Moscow of the Russian Federation on July 30. The delegation led by Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of Main Department of Combat Readiness and Military Education, Lieutenant-General Nizam Osmanov represents our country in the competitions "Caspian Sea Cup" and "Tank Biathlon."
An international competition "Tank biathlon" within the "International Army games - 2016" started today at Alabino training ground.
51 tank crew from 17 countries attended competitions along with Azerbaijani tankers. In the competition, Azerbaijani tankers will perform at T-72B3 tanks.
It should be pointed out that 121 teams from 19 countries will take part in 23 competitions on the field, air and naval skills within the International Army games.
The games to be held in 20 training grounds and in the waters of the three seas with the participation of 3 thousand people will continue until August 13.
