Azerbaijani peacekeepers have returned from Afghanistan
Accrording to the plan and rotation a group of 42 Azerbaijani military servicemen returned to Baku from Afghanistan. The group has been serving in Aghanistan within NATO-led non-combat "Resolute Support" mission launched since January 2015.
Azerbaijani Armed Forces' peakeeping mission in Afghaninstan has started since 20 November 2002.
Currently, a group of 94 servicemen, including 2 medical and 2 sapper officers serve in a peace-building mission in Afghanistan.
