A delegation of military lawyers of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan is on a working visit to Türkiye.
Azerbaijani delegation led by the Chief of the Legal Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Justice Colonel Elchin Aliyev met with the Deputy Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Türkiye, Mr. Şuay Alpay.
At the meeting, a wide exchange of views on the norms of international humanitarian law, integration of the law into the conduct of operations and reinforcement of moral values during armed conflict, as well as on a number of other issues of interest was held.
During the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation also attended an event on the completion of the professional education of officers of the Law Faculty at the Main Department of Legal Services of the Turkish National Defense Ministry.
The speakers at the ceremony congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their future military service.
Mr. Ş. Alpay congratulated the Azerbaijani delegation on 18 October - Day of Restoration of Independence.
In the end, the Azerbaijan Army’s servicemen and other graduates who successfully completed their education were awarded certificates.
