On May 15, Minister of Defence of Azerbaijan Republic, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov met with being on an official visit to our country Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Turkey Mr. Ismet Yilmaz to conduct negotiations in a bilateral format.
At the meeting, held with the participation of delegations, the Minister of Defenсe, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, welcoming guests said that the military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey is based on friendly and fraternal relations and that these relations are progressively developing and are productive for both countries.
Guest spoke about the significance and importance of such meetings in the strengthening of mutual relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
A comprehensive exchange of views on matters relating to regional and mutual cooperation was held between the two sides.
Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mr. Ismail Alper Coskun took part at the meeting.
