On February 7, on the occasion of the birthday of the National Hero of Azerbaijan Mubariz Ibrahimov, a delegation of the Ministry of Defense and a group of servicemen visited the grave of our hero and laid flowers to it.
At the commemoration ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Namig Javadov emphasized the high sense of patriotism and fighting-spirit of Mubariz Ibrahimov, who became an example for others with his heroism. The officer spoke about the glorious life of the National Hero, his courage, and heroism. It was noted that despite the fact that our hero lived a short life, he sacrificed his life for the Motherland and accomplished a feat that became an example for the youth.
Other speakers also emphasized that the huge love for the Motherland ascended the hero, who bravely inscribed his name in history and in the hearts of the young generation, to the heights of Martyrdom.  It was noted the heroism shown by our hero was highly appreciated by the head of state, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.
At the ceremony, the memory of the Shehids (martyrs) who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our Motherland was honored, and flowers were laid on their graves.
During the event, servicemen of the Ministry of Defense visited the family of Mubariz Ibrahimov and met with his parents.
