The contest "Caspian Cup - 2016" took place within the framework of the competition "International army games - 2016" is ended.
In the first stage of the competition, during the destruction of air targets with artillery fire while coming into the sea range, Azerbaijani Navy artillery shot from the patrol-guard ship G-124 at the glowing "bombs" that have been dropped from a bomber and destroyed the target. This successful shot of Azerbaijani military sailors was rated 40 points and our military sailors were awarded 1st place in the first stage.
In the second stage during the destruction of naval targets from guns, Azerbaijani military sailors shot from a distance of 4300 meters and according to the episode, they scored 20 points and took the 2nd place.
In the third stage, it was planned to destroy the floating mines from artillery installations. Patrol-guard ship G-124 while entering the sea range made a shot from a distance of 280 meters and destroyed the mine because of which it gained 40 points and won the 2nd place.
According to the results of all three stages of shooting, held in the sea range the patrol-guard ship G-124 belonging to the Azerbaijani military sailors gained the highest number of points and won the 1st place.
Then mini football competitions were held. Despite the fact that the crew of G-124 lost a game for the crew of the Russian ship "Uglich" with a score of 3:6, however, the crew of G-124 won the crew of the Kazakh ship "Oral" with a score of 7:2 and took 2nd place.
According to the terms of the last stage of the competition for maritime training within the framework of military sports games, military ships had to anchor on the barrel in the sea range to perform a task. According to the results of this phase, the patrol-guard ship G-124 of Azerbaijani Naval Forces fulfilled all terms and took the 1st place with the highest 40 points.
Due to the overall results of the contest, "Caspian Cup - 2016" our team took 2nd place. The competition is ended.
The final phase of "International army games - 2016" and the awards ceremony will be held on August 13.
