As part of the reforms carried out under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev in the field of military capability development, aimed at improving the combat and moral-psychological training of military personnel, improving the social conditions of servicemen, the construction of new military facilities is continued in various areas in the frontline zone.
In connection with the fulfillment of the instructions of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov and the leadership of the ministry visited several military facilities being under construction in the frontline zone.
The Minister of Defense was informed that the military camps to be commissioned before the end of this year will be fully provided with water, gas, heating and other communication systems, the military facilities will be equipped with the latest devices.
It was reported that headquarters buildings, officer dormitories, and soldiers' barracks, mess halls, depots for the storage of military equipment, and other administrative buildings and facilities will be built in these military camps. At the same time, the relevant service facilities and public catering facilities, including bath-laundry and a boiler complex, medical points and other infrastructure facilities will also be operated to provide housing conditions and full-featured military service and combat activity of servicemen.
After checking the progress of construction work carried out in the military units being under construction, the Minister of Defense gave relevant instructions in connection with the carrying out of high-quality construction work and its timely completion.
