On March 25, a delegation of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan led by Minister of Defense Colonel General Zakir Hasanov will leave for a working visit to the United States of America.
During the visit, the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan will attend the UN Peacekeeping Ministerial Conference to be held in New York.
Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan Colonel General Z. Hasanov will also meet with the UN Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations Mr. Jean-Pierre Lacroix and colleagues from other countries participating in the meeting.
During the meetings, issues of regional security, the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as the prospects for our country's participation in UN peacekeeping operations will be discussed.
