On February 20, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has met with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to our country, Kim Tong-op.
Congratulating the Ambassador on the commencement of diplomatic activities in our country, the Minister wished him success in expanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and Korea.
The sides, stressing the successful continuation of relations in the military sphere, in particular cooperation in the field of military education, education of servicemen of the Azerbaijan Army in military educational institutions of Korea, as well as their participation in various training held in this country, exchanged views on the prospects for the development of relations.
The Korean Ambassador noted that during his activity in Azerbaijan he would make every effort to develop relations between the two countries.
