This was stated by Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov in the meeting of the Council of CIS Defense Ministers in Baku.
The Minister said: “It is a great honor for us to host this meeting in Baku. I hope today's meeting will be very productive, eventful and will serve the further development of our relations. We hope that today's meeting will give an additional impetus to the development and deepening of cooperation between our countries, and will outline new prospects for cooperation, as well as contribute to strengthening peace, stability, and security in our states. I take this opportunity to express my gratitude to our colleagues from the Secretariat of the Council of CIS Defense Ministers for the effort and invaluable assistance in organizing this meeting. I hope that you all will enjoy being in Azerbaijan and you will have the opportunity to get to know Baku better and get acquainted with the positive transformations that are taking place in our country today.
