The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov conveyed his condolences to the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Türkiye, Mr. Yaşar Güler.

The condolence letter says: “I am deeply saddened by the news that a serviceman from the 7th Border Brigade Command stationed in the Hakkari region lost his life as a result of gunfire opened during an intervention in a border-crossing incident.

I pray to Almighty Allah for the repose of the soul of deceased serviceman and extend my deepest condolences to his family.

May Allah rest his soul in peace."
