According to the action plan approved by the Minister of Defense, a number of events on the occasion of 17 November - National Revival Day were held in the Azerbaijan Army.
First, the memory of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev, and Shehids, who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
The speakers highlighted the historical role of the National Revival Day, which is one of the main stages of the liberation struggle of the Azerbaijani people, in restoring the independence of our country. It was also emphasized that due to the political foresight and wisdom of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, independent Azerbaijan embarked on the modern path of development and mentioned that the National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s policy is being successfully continued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
It was stressed that due to the determination and far-sighted policy of the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Azerbaijani historical lands were liberated from occupation, and territorial integrity was fully ensured. 17 November - National Revival Day is celebrated in the country, including in the liberated territories with a sense of great pride.
In accordance with the plan, military personnel visited museums, as well ass scientific-practical conferences, round tables and other cultural-mass events were organized as part of the events.
