Festive events on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the declaration of state independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan were organized in the Combined Arms Army, Air Force, Naval Forces, Army Corpses, formations, military units, and special military-educational institutions with the participation of local executive authorities and representatives of public structures.
In the beginning, the participants of the events paid tribute to the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev and the Shahids (Martyrs) who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of our country with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
In accordance with the approved plan, the military personnel, veterans, schoolchildren, students and members of the public took part in festive concerts, cultural, military-patriotic and other events held in military units.
During the events, the creative teams of the Army Ideological and Cultural Center named after Hazi Aslanov, the Ganja Ideological and Cultural Center, district and city culture centers have presented an interesting program for military personnel.
