Festive events on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the declaration of state independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan were organized in the Combined-Arms Army, Air Force, Naval Forces, Army Corps, formations, military units and special military-educational institutions with participation of the local executive authorities and representatives of public structures.
First, the participants of the events paid tribute to the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev and the Shahids (Martyrs) who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of our country with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
In accordance with the approved plan, the military personnel, veterans, schoolchildren, students and members of the public took part in festive concerts, cultural, military-patriotic and other events held in military units.
Creative teams of the Central House of Officers named after Hazi Aslanov, the House of Officers of the Ganja Garrison, district and city culture centers have presented an interesting program during the events.
