Events on the occasion of Gurban Bayram were held in the Army Corps, formations, and special educational institutions of the Azerbaijan Army.
First, during the events, the memory of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev and Shehids (Martyrs), who sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
The congratulations of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and the Azerbaijan Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, on the occasion of Gurban Bayram, were conveyed to the military personnel.
A feast of the sacrifice was held with the participation of servicemen, and festive tables were served for them.
