A meeting between the acting commander of the Naval Forces of Azerbaijan, Captain 1st Rank Zaur Hummatov and the delegation led by the Commander of the Naval Forces of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Vice Admiral Pham Hoai Nam was held at the headquarters of the Naval Forces of Azerbaijan on July 31.
During the meeting that discussed the prospects for the development of military cooperation, the sides, noting that military ties meet the interests of the two countries, stressed the importance of continuing efforts in this sphere.
Expressing confidence that military relations will be continued in the future, Vice Admiral F. Haoi noted that such visits would contribute to strengthening ties.
