According to the instruction of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev construction works are being carried out in military units.
Defense Ministry leadership took part in the opening ceremony of another residential complex and a new military camp for the officers' families on August 2.
A total of 48 service apartment each of which consisting of three rooms, equipped with communication lines. The rooms based on modern standards are provided with furniture and other facilities. Landscaping the courtyard of a residential building and gardening work as well as the necessary conditions for the effective recreation of the servicemen and their families have been done.
Servicemen and their families expressed their gratitude for the created conditions, and thanked the Commander-in-Chief for the care and attention paid to them.
Then, the Defense Ministry leadership got acquainted with the objects in a new military camp.
During the meeting with military personnel Defense Minister spoke about the work carried out in recent years to enhance combat, moral and psychological readiness, improve social conditions and strengthen the material and technical base as a result of the high attention of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief to the military development.
Minister of Defense mentioned that according to the instruction of state leadership 70 percent of military units provided with cooling and air conditioning system with aim to protect health, comfortableness and normal condition for the rest of military personnel, especially young soldiers during the hot summer days. Minister stressed that the purchase of new weapons and equipment, the opening of new military units, providing officers with new official and permanent apartments due to the attention of the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev is one of the main aspects for the high level of combat readiness and disciplines of the Armed Forces.
The solemn passage of personnel marched in front of the podium, after which the leadership of Defence Ministry have lunch together with military personnel.
The Minister has met with the civilian personnel working in the military unit and gave relevant instructions and recommendations for provision of servicemen.
