Despite the reached agreement on ceasefire along the line of contact, the hostile forces violated the ceasefire regime, once again provoking conflict on the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border.
On May 12 at 10:30 the positions of our Armed Forces, located in Shahbuz region of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic were shelled from the positions of Armenian units, located in the Yeghegnadzor region.
As a result of enemy’s provocation, one of our servicemen, Guluzade Yusif Eldar oglu was slightly injured.
The hostile forces were suppressed by accurate counter fire of our military units located in these areas.
We declare that Armenian criminal military-political regime is fully responsible for the consequences of these occurring provocations.
