Another batch of Turkish-made engineering equipment was passed into service in order to improve engineering support in the Combined Arms Army.
Wheel and fully-tracked loaders, excavators, and graders, as well as their spare parts manufactured by the Turkish company HİDROMEK, by means of a special type of transportation through the Umid bridge over the Araz River, were delivered to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
A ceremony in regard to passing into service of the engineering equipment was held in the military unit of the Combined Arms Army.
An officer of the military unit and the representative of the HİDROMEK company who spoke at the ceremony noted the high level of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey. It was emphasized that the adoption of new equipment is important in terms of enhancing the technical capabilities of engineering units.
After completing the speeches on behalf of the command of the Combined Arms Army valuable gifts were handed to members of the crew that delivered the equipment to Nakhchivan.
