On February 11, Minister of Defence, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov held an official meeting at the Central Command Post of the Armed Forces.
Deputy Ministers, commanders of the Armed Forces, chiefs of main departments, departments and services attended the meeting. Commanders of military units located at the frontline zone and other officials joined the meeting via the video connection.
After analysis of the recent situation on the frontline, Defense Minister informed the participants of the meeting about the tasks set by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev to the Armed Forces.
Colonel General Z.Hasanov gave instructions to the command staff to enhance service and combat activity of military personnel, especially to improve combat training, state of combat readiness, comprehensive provision of defense system, organization of the combat duty of the military units deployed on the foremost defense line.
The importance of the work to enhance the morale and psychological state of the military personnel, based on the examples of heroism, education of military servicemen in a spirit of selfless devotion to the Motherland, the State and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief was mentioned at the meeting.
The Minister of Defense has also given instructions to the participants of the meeting to keep constant tracking of the enemy action at the frontline, preserve military superiority and initiative in all directions and spheres as well as take immediate and effective retaliatory action to prevent the enemy provocations.
