The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Pakistan and the Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS) of Pakistan jointly organized an international webinar on "Azerbaijan-Pakistan defense cooperation: Achievements and Opportunities" dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan.
The webinar were attended by the Ex-National Security Adviser of Pakistan, retired Lieutenant General Nasser Khan Janjua as a guest of honor, the President of CGSS retired Major General Syed Khalid Amir Jaffery, Pakistan’s Military Attaché in Azerbaijan Colonel Nadeem Chaudhry, CGSS Executive Director Khalid Taimur Akram, employees of the Military Attaché Apparatus of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan in Pakistan, as well as Azerbaijani and Pakistani servicemen, experts and military attaches of various countries accredited in Pakistan.
Speakers at the webinar congratulated the 102nd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, spoke about the friendly and fraternal relations between the two countries, as well as the success of bilateral military cooperation and the prospects for the dynamic development of military relations between the two countries.
The Military Attaché of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan in Pakistan, Colonel Mehman Novruzov spoke about the history and development path of the Armed Forces of our country and comprehensively informed the participants of the webinar on the achievements of the Azerbaijan Army.
Ambassador Ali Alizadeh, welcoming the participants on behalf of the Embassy of our country in Pakistan, stressed that our countries have strong ties of friendship and partnership that reflect the will of the two fraternal peoples. He emphasized that one of the most important areas of these relations is a partnership in the military, defense, and strategic spheres as well as in the field of security. The Ambassador, noting the progress in all areas of cooperation in accordance with the strategic directions identified by the leaders of the two countries, thanked the organizers and participants of the event.
At the webinar, a video about the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan was shown, as well as the opinions and impressions of participants on this topic were heard and answers to their questions were given.
