The Army Ideological and Cultural Center named after Hazi Aslanov organized at the Military Lyceum named after Jamshid Nakhchivanski an event with the title of "Zafar" dedicated to the victory of the Azerbaijan Army in the 44-day Patriotic War.
The event was attended by the military personnel of the military lyceum, the creative collectives of the Army Ideological and Cultural Center named after Hazi Aslanov, Baku City Main Department of Culture as well as of the public representatives.
First, the memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and the Shehids (martyrs) who died for the independence and territorial integrity of our country was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
Speakers at the event emphasized the historical significance of the victory of the Azerbaijan Army under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, as well as the liberation of the occupied lands, especially our symbol of pride – the Shusha city as a result of Patriotic War.
At the end, the creative collectives of the Army Ideological and Cultural Center named after Hazi Aslanov, as well as of the Baku City Main Department of Culture performed an artistic program on the patriotic topic.
