In pursuance of the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, dated April 14, 2021, "On celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Military Lyceum named after Jamshid Nakhchivanski" another event was held at the Military Lyceum in accordance with an action plan of the Ministry of Defense.
The representatives of the Ministry of Defense, military personnel of the lyceum, the creative staff of the Ideological and Cultural Center of the Ganja Garrison, and graduates of previous years participated in the event.    
First, the memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and the Shehids (Martyrs) who died for the liberation of our lands was honored with observing a minute of silence. The State Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.       
Major General Bakir Orujov, Chief of the Military Lyceum named after J. Nakhchivanski, and other speakers spoke about the lyceum's exceptional services in training national professional servicemen, its role in raising the prestige of the military profession in society, and increasing the number of young people, who devoted themselves to the military art.     
It was noted that the lyceum’s graduates, who have always been at the frontline during the battles for restoring the territorial integrity of our country, were awarded the ranks of "Hero of the Patriotic War", "National Hero of Azerbaijan", as well as orders and medals.
At the end of the event, the audience listened with interest to the patriotic songs performed by the People’s Artist Azerin.
