On April 29 a seminar was held with chiefs of offices (divisions) for ideological work and moral-psychological support and psychologists at the Training and Educational Center of the Azerbaijan Army.
The seminar was attended by chiefs for ideological work and moral-psychological support of offices (divisions) of Army Corps, formations, combined military units, special educational institutions, psychologists as well as representatives of the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Baku City Main State Traffic Police Department, Narcological Center.
The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov met with the participants of the seminar.
At first, the memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and Shehids (Martyrs), who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
The Minister of Defense delivered to the seminar participants the instructions set to the Azerbaijan Army by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev. He noted that thanks to the attention and care of the head of state, the moral and psychological state of military personnel has improved due to the work done in improving the social and living conditions of servicemen.
Positively appreciating the work done to increase military discipline in the Azerbaijan Army, the Minister spoke about the duties of chiefs of offices (divisions) for ideological work and moral-psychological support and psychologists.
The Defense Minister stressed the importance of preferring the individual approach to the education of the military personnel, as well as strict compliance with the requirements of the charter in the establishment of mutual relations.
Speaking about the role of socio-political and physical training in the formation of a healthy environment in military staffs, Colonel General Z. Hasanov recommended giving priority to personal example and division of responsibilities in the performance of functional duties.
Then the Defense Minister gave specific instructions to carry out educational work in a planned manner, to further strengthen the ideological work and moral-psychological support so that the troops are ready to accomplish combat tasks at any time.
At the seminar, views on many issues affecting the combat and moral-psychological readiness, the sense of patriotism of military personnel were exchanged, the lectures were heard, and questions were answered.
