A seminar was held with officers for ideological work and moral-psychological support

According to the training plan approved by the Minister of Defense for 2019, a seminar was held with officers for ideological work and moral-psychological support.
Speaking at the seminar, Deputy Defense Minister Lieutenant General Kerim Veliyev noted that the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev praised the work carried out in the field of army development, improving the combat capability of the army, and the fighting and patriotic spirit of its military personnel. The Deputy Minister speaking about the activities carried out in military units in the field of strengthening discipline and the responsibilities assigned in this area to deputy commanders for ideological work and moral-psychological support, emphasized that strong military discipline is one of the main conditions for ensuring effective combat readiness of the army.
Lieutenant General K. Veliyev expressed confidence that the officers involved in the seminar will continue to fulfill their duties with responsibility and will make every effort to adequately cope with the tasks and duties assigned to the military personnel by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the Minister of Defense.
The Chief of the Department for Ideological Work and Moral-Psychological Support - Deputy Chief of the Main Department for Personnel Major General Rasim Aliyev spoke about the work being done to improve military discipline and the prospects in this sphere, the reforms carried out in the field of strengthening military discipline and the responsibilities assigned to deputy commanders for ideological work and moral-psychological support.
Speaking at the event, the representative of the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Lieutenant Colonel of Justice Jeyhun Jafarov, including officers of various departments and military units of the Ministry of Defense have shared their visions and opinions about the factors affecting the combat readiness of the army.
