According to the plan of combat training of the Azerbaijan Army, a seminar on the topic “Actual issues of organizing cultural leisure and service conditions of military personnel" was held with the deputy commanders of military units for ideological work and moral-psychological support, senior assistants for public relations, as well as assistants for cultural work.
Deputy Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Kerim Veliyev speaking at the seminar stressed that the ideological work and the moral-psychological support of the military personnel, as well as the work on public relations in military units for the past period of the current year,  were organized in accordance with the requirements of military legislation. He noted that this work is constantly in the center of attention. The Deputy Defense Minister expressed confidence that the officials will responsibly fulfill all the requirements and instructions of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the Minister of Defense.
The Chief of the Department for Ideological Work and Moral-Psychological Support - Deputy Chief of the Main Department for Personnel, Major General Rasim Aliyev made a report on the work done during the current year in the field of military-patriotic education and military discipline, proper organization of leisure of military personnel and other areas.
Then reports on the responsibility of command staff in raising the level of ideological work and moral-psychological support for military personnel and strengthening the rule of law in the Azerbaijan Army, ensuring the security of military service, educating military personnel in the spirit of national-moral values and on other issues were heard. Educational films for the organization of cultural leisure in the military units have been shown, and the discussions were held in connection with the more fruitful implementation of this work. Relevant proposals have also been made.
In the end, the officers were given the necessary recommendations on the topic of the seminar.
