On 23 May, a seminar within the framework of mutual cooperation between the Ministry of Defense and the Azerbaijani representation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) was held in the International Military Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Defense.
Addressing the seminar, the representative of the ICRC in Azerbaijan Ilaha Huseynova acquainted participants with the rules of conduct during military operations and the norms of international military legislation.
During the meeting, the military personnel was also informed about the methods of taking preventive measures to ensure the safety of the civilian population and the protection of the wounded, as well as the support of civilians during armed conflicts.
