A round-table on the topic "Ilham Aliyev - the factor of the military leadership" was held at the Training and Educational Center of the Azerbaijan Army.
First, the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Shehids, who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, was honored with observing a minute moment of silence.
At the event, the Acting Chief of the Department for Ideological Work and Moral-Psychological Support, Colonel Elshad Abilov, and other speakers emphasized that the National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s army development policy is being successfully continued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
It was noted that today the Azerbaijan Army has entered a new stage of development. The Azerbaijan Army is among the strongest armies due to the work done on establishing a military infrastructure that meets modern standards, improving the social and living conditions of the military personnel, as well as providing the Army with modern weapons. During the Patriotic War, the Azerbaijan Army once again proved its strength and capabilities to the world.
