The leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the rector of the Azerbaijan Medical University, Professor Gerai Geraibeyli participated in the opening of a new educational building of the Military Medical Faculty located on the territory of the Main Clinical Hospital of the Armed Forces.
The new building is equipped with all necessary communication systems and medical equipment, allowing to organize classes at a high level.
Theoretical and practical training of cadets will be conducted in various classrooms, simulation rooms, laboratory rooms and other support units that meet modern requirements.
Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov stressed that due to the attention and care of the President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the development of medical sphere is as fast as in other spheres of the Armed Forces. Minister also emphasized that taking into account the April battles of last year, including incessant provocations of Armenia with the aim of aggravating the situation, military medical specialists must constantly improve their professionalism, acquire profound knowledge and have great experience.
Highly appreciating the created conditions for high-quality education, the rector of the Azerbaijan Medical University, Professor G.Geraibeyli noted that the university will provide comprehensive assistance for raising the level of professionalism of medical personnel.
In the end, the Minister of Defense gave appropriate instructions to medical personnel.
