A meeting with cadets studying in Türkiye was held

As part of an official visit to the Republic of Türkiye, a delegation led by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov visited the fraternal country’s National Defense University.
The Defense Minister passed along the guard of honor and signed the university’s Book of Remembrance.
Rector of the National Defense University of the Republic of Türkiye, Professor Erhan Afyoncu welcomed the Azerbaijani delegation and provided information about the educational institution’s establishment history, education system, and learning process.
Colonel General Z. Hasanov emphasized that cooperation with Türkiye in the field of military education plays an important role as in other fields and highlighted the significance of the mutual exchange of experience.
Issues of further expansion of military education as part of joint cooperation, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting held in an expanded format with the participation of delegations.
Then the Defense Minister met with servicemen studying at educational institutions subordinate to the university, inquired about their education level and gave his recommendations.
Colonel General Z. Hasanov highlighted the reforms carried out in Azerbaijan in the field of army development, as well as the application of the model of the Turkish Armed Forces in the Azerbaijani Army.
The Minister of Defense expressed confidence that the Azerbaijani cadets studying here will develop in line with modern requirements and apply the knowledge and experience gained during education for further strengthening the Azerbaijani Army after successfully graduating from the military educational institution and returning to the Motherland.
The official visit of the delegation led by Colonel General Z. Hasanov to the fraternal country continues.
