Due to the ensuring the fulfillment of the tasks on strengthening ideological work assigned in the recent speeches of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev, a meeting was held between the Head of the Department for Relations with Political Parties and Legislative Authority of the Presidential Administration, Adalat Veliyev and Deputy Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Kerim Veliyev.
During the meeting, the parties talked about the work done in the relevant area, analyzed the activities carried out, and considered plans for ideological work.
Then, a meeting of the working group in connection with the above topic was organized with the participation of Director of the Sector for Analysis and Prognostication of the Department for Relations with Political Parties and Legislative Authority of the Presidential Administration, Tahir Kerimov, and officers responsible for organizing and conducting ideological work in the Azerbaijan Army.
At the event, the reports of officers on socio-political training, moral-psychological support, public relations, as well as reports related to other areas were heard. Presentations and information on the work done so far and steps to be taken to increase the effectiveness of the work carried out in this area were presented.
Tahir Kerimov, speaking at the meeting, noted that as a result of the reforms carried out in the Azerbaijan Army under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the combat capability of military units, the fighting spirit, patriotic spirit and moral-psychological training of military personnel have increased.
T. Kerimov, speaking about the importance of ideological work, emphasized that the historical activities of the national leader Heydar Aliyev in the formation of the Azerbaijan Army, the reforms carried out in our army under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the propaganda of the work carried out in the field of increasing the authority of military service, military-patriotic education of the younger generation, the growth of youth in the spirit of adherence to national values, historical traditions, and with a feeling of love for the Motherland and constant readiness to liberate our lands from the occupation are among the main priorities of ideological work.
During the event, due to the ensuring the fulfillment of the tasks assigned in the recent speeches of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev to strengthen ideological work, a wide exchange of views on the directions and prospects of ideological work to be carried out in military units was held, as well as proposals for new forms and methods were discussed.
In the end, discussions took place on ways to achieve more efficient and better fulfillment of tasks related to ideological work through the more flexible use of creative ideas, modern technologies, flash mobs, and social networks.
During the discussions, the parties gave a positive assessment of the work and activities on ideological work carried out in the Ministry of Defense.
