Another media tour organized for media representatives to get acquainted with the measures taken to clear the liberated territories from mines and unexploded ordnance was held in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
The joint work on clearing the area of the liberated Fizuli and Jabrayil regions from mines and unexploded ordnance using modern technology and equipment was demonstrated to the media representatives by Engineer-sapper units of the Azerbaijan Army and the military personnel of the Armed Forces of fraternal Turkey.
The journalists observed the tasks fulfilled by the sappers to carry out an engineering reconnaissance in the area, to detect and neutralize mines using trained dogs.
