With regard to the execution of the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on declaring 2023 as the “Year of Heydar Aliyev” in Azerbaijan, the activities held according to the action plan approved by the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, are underway.
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev, the Ministry of Defense organized a media tour to the Military Lyceum named after Jamshid Nakhchivanski, established in 1971 at the base of the Baku city 8-year Boarding School No. 2, on the initiative of the Great Leader.
Media representatives filmed in the Heydar Aliyev museum, educational building and other administrative buildings in the territory of the military lyceum.
Cadets and teachers, as well as graduates of the military lyceum were interviewed.
It was emphasized that the visionary policy of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev stands in providing Azerbaijan Army with professional personnel. It was noted that the military lyceum has an exceptional role in training educated and skilled officers serving in the Azerbaijan Army.
