According to the order of the Minister of Defense on holding sports competitions in the Azerbaijan Army, the kettlebell lifting championship was held in accordance with the Land Forces Training Plan for 2023.
First, the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Shehids, who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
Before the start of the championship, the servicemen were informed about the championship’s objectives and safety regulations.
The competitions that involved 8 teams consisting of 43 servicemen were held in 6 weight categories without strain and in a push.
According to the overall results, the teams “Kalbajar”, “Hadrut” and “Barda” that participated in the championship took first, second and third places, respectively.
At the end of the competition, the winners were awarded honorary diplomas, cups, and diplomas, as well as a photo was taken.
It should be noted that the winners will compete at the kettlebell lifting championship to be held in the Azerbaijan Army in February this year.
