The special training courses held with the involvement of a group of servicemen of the Combined Arms Army participated in the Second Karabakh War ended. Fighters who mastered combat skills were prematurely awarded the next military ranks.
During the graduation ceremony, the blessed memory of the Shehids (martyrs) of the Patriotic War was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
Speaking on behalf of the graduates, Elchin Aliyev assured that they will continue to defend their Motherland as courageously as they bravely fought in the Patriotic War receiving strength from state care and inspired by the unity of the people-army.
At the event, Colonel General Kerem Mustafayev, the Commander of the Combined Arms Army, emphasized that the policy in the field of army development, assigned by national leader Heydar Aliyev is being successfully continued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev. Important work is being done on the modernization of the military infrastructure and the exemplary service of military personnel due to the attention and care of the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Mr. Vasif Talibov. Due to the high level of combat readiness, a group of servicemen of the Combined Arms Army also participated in the Patriotic War for the territorial integrity of our country and wrote honorably a new page in the history. Colonel General Kerem Mustafayev congratulated the graduates who have completed the courses and wished them success in the future military service.
After the speeches, graduates were awarded military ranks and certificates.
The orders on the appointment of graduates to relevant positions in accordance with their specialties were brought to the attention of the military personnel. The graduates marched in front of the podium.
