As part of the "NATO Days", a group of experts of NATO Allied Command Transformation visited the Military Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan on November 24.
The delegation headed by Major-General Odd Egil Pedersen, met with the leadership of the Academy.
At the meeting, along with a discussion of implemented between Azerbaijan and NATO programs, an extensive exchange of views on NATO-Azerbaijan joint activities in the field of military education and exercises to assist the development of the military education system of the Armed Forces.
The delegation was informed about the relations established with NATO member states and partners within the framework of NATO's Defence Education Enhancement Program and the prospects in this field. The guests were presented an overview briefing on the history and structure of the academy, teaching and educational process and the overall activities of the military institution.
During the event, students of the Academy were presented briefings "NATO Command Structure and Military Cooperation" "Azerbaijan-NATO Cooperation", "Strategic Foresight Analysis", "NATO Joint Analysis and Lessons Learned Process", "Operational Capabilities Concept", "NATO after the Warsaw Summit", "Cooperation NATO-South Caucasus" and other briefings.
