The ceasefire monitoring on the LOC, in the territory of Aghdam region held in accordance with the mandate of Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office on May 4, ended with no incident.

On 4 May 2017, the Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, in accordance with its mandate, plans to conduct the next ceasefire monitoring exercise on the LOC in Aghdam region.

According to the instructions of the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, a visit of representatives of the mass media to the training center was organized on May 2, with the aim of making a media coverage for the joint exercises of the Armed Forces, which are held on May 1 to 5, in accordance with the agreement on military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey.

In accordance with the agreement on military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey, live-fire joint tactical exercises of the Armed Forces of the two countries started on May 1.

According to the combat training plan for the current year, practical trainings with live-fire on the subject "Shooting and control of artillery fire" were held at the artillery training center for cadets studying at the 4th year of the Azerbaijan High Military School named after Heydar Aliyev.

The ceasefire monitoring on the LOC, on the Azerbaijan and Armenia state border in the terrirtory of Kazakh region held in accordance with the mandate of Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office on April 27, ended with no incident.

On 27 April 2017, the Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, in accordance with its mandate, plans to conduct the next ceasefire monitoring exercise on the Azerbaijan and Armenia state border in the territory of Kazakh region, on the line of confrontation (LoC) of troops.
