Solemn opening ceremony of the "Masters of Artillery Fire" and "Sniper Frontier" contests to be conducted within the framework of the "International Army Games - 2017" competitions was held at the Otar military base in Kazakhstan.

At night of July 30 and in the morning, the villages of Bala Jafarli, Gushchu Ayrim of the Gazakh region, the village of Kohnegishlag of the Agstafa region and the village of Garalar of the Tovuz region were subjected to intensive shelling from the large-caliber weapons by the Armenian armed forces. Civilian facilities, sowing plots and proprietorship of the population have been damaged.

The drawing procedure of the competition “Masters of the Artillery Fire” to be held within the framework of the International Army Games – 2017 was conducted. The competition will be held from August 1 to 9 at the “Otar” military base in Kazakhstan.

The delegation of the Azerbaijan Armed Forces left for Kazakhstan to participate in the competitions "Sniper frontier" and "Masters of artillery fire", conducted within the framework of the "International Army Games - 2017".

The armed forces of Armenia by using heavy weapons continue in an intensive manner to violate the ceasefire and perpetuate provocations along the line of contact and the state border of Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Part of the delegation of the Azerbaijan Armed Forces departed for Moscow to take part in the competitions "Tank Biathlon" and "Field Kitchen", to be conducted within the framework of the "International Army Games - 2017".
