GURBANOV AGIL SALIM OGLU
DEPUTY MINISTER OF DEFENSE OF THE REPUBLIC OF AZERBAIJAN - DIRECTOR GENERAL
Gurbanov Agil Salim oglu was born in Baku city on August 15, 1986.
In 2004-2008, he received a bachelor's degree from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In 2012-2014, he received a master's degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
In 2015-2019, he was taking the position of the Investment Director at PASHA Holding LLC.
Then, he held the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Sumgait Technologies Park.
On 09.12.2022, he was appointed to the position of Deputy Minister of Defense for Military-Technical Support by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
On 27.02.2023, he was appointed to the position of Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of the Main Department for Military-Technical Support by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
From 13.07.2023, he has been appointed to the position of Deputy Minister of Defense – Director General by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
He is married and has two children.
