Events on the occasion of June 17 - Medical Workers' Day were held in the Azerbaijan Army.

Within the framework of NATO's Defence Education Enhancement Programme (DEEP), a working meeting with the programme coordinators for Azerbaijan and NATO's experts on various educational issues was held at the National Defense University of the Ministry of Defense.

A briefing on the preparation for the "Anatolian Eagle - 2022" International Flight-Tactical Exercises, organized with the participation of servicemen from different countries, was presented at the airbase in Konya, Türkiye.

During the night of June 17, the Armenian armed forces units using small arms subjected to fire the positions of the Azerbaijan Army in the direction of the Damirchidam settlement of the Kalbajar region of the state border.

A meeting on bilateral cooperation talks was held between the delegations of the Ministries of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Lithuania in the International Military Cooperation Department.

The planning conference for the "Sea Cup" international contest to be organized in Azerbaijan's territorial waters as part of the "International Army Games - 2022" was held at the Naval Forces' headquarters on June 16.

As part of the events, jointly organized by the Department for Ideological Work and Moral-Psychological Support of the Main Department for Personnel of the Ministry of Defense and the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, meetings with schoolchildren were held in secondary schools located in Baku and various regions.

According to the action plan approved by the Minister of Defense, several events were held in the Azerbaijan Army on the occasion of 15 June - the National Salvation Day.

On June 15, a solemn ceremony dedicated to the 2022 graduation was held for cadets of the Military Lyceum named after Jamshid Nakhchivanski of the National Defense University.
